1. Internet Marketing Is EASY
Out of all the myths I will cover in my article, this may just be the greatest of them all. Internet marketing is not easy. Like any other business it requires time, dedication, determination and focus to create and nurture. Depending on the type of business you embark upon, a budget may also be needed. Although you are your own boss, you will need hard work and resolve to make a success of any business you start.

2. Anyone Can Make Money Quickly Online
There are so many "Get Rich Quick" schemes being advertised that some people actually believe in them! Yes, the advertisers make these schemes sound so easy but this is a waste of your valuable time and effort, as you just can't make money overnight. What you need to do is spend time on research, find out what people really want and then put a realistic business plan into place. If you want to make big money then it's up to you to plan and work accordingly.

3. An Online Business Is Free
Sounds great, but it is yet another myth. Compared to setting up other businesses, costs may be low but there are still costs and you need to have a working budget in order to get started. There are out-goings such as online training you may want to undertake, decent office equipment and internet connection, domain hosting, promoting and advertising. These are all coming out of your start-up budget, before you have actually started making money.

4. There Are So Many Internet Businesses Already I'm Too Late
This is such a common myth yet you hear people discussing it regularly. But they are so wrong! People nowadays prefer to shop online avoiding all the queues and humping heavy shopping bags. There are more daily searches on one of the biggest shopping channels than there are on Google! So please remember, the Internet is going nowhere - get in there while you can!
